why does this happen? because our brain can only process so much information at a time, so it takes short cuts to fill in the gaps, to give us the the information we need to make quick decisions for survival
question: I ask you, if this is the case? what happens when we get emotional and need to make decisions on the run?
answer: the same short cuts are taken to fill in the gaps with experiences from the past stored in our cerebellum, the sub conscious brain

“The major problem is that people are aware of their conscious beliefs and behaviours, but not of subconscious beliefs and behaviours. Most people don’t even acknowledge that their subconscious mind is at play, when the fact is that the subconscious mind is a million times more powerful than the conscious mind and that we operate 95 to 99 percent of our lives from subconscious programs"
